julians on broadway.

julians is one of providence's most raved about trendy little restaurant/bar spots. an interesting place through and through. all sorts of customers, great vibe, friendly, no complaints here at all. in fact, this menu was the most interesting and creative menu i've seen in awhile. bottomless coffee for $2.50 at breakfast is not a bad deal either.

she had eggs benedict florentine style. spinach, tomatoes, eggs, covered in hollandaise sauce.

i had the scythe lord, an omelet holding cheese, ham, and bell peppers. home fries and toast. this food was great, fresh, and filling. felt good to be full from this food, and a great start to the morning. looking forward to checking out julians nightlife scene very soon. stay tuned!

david burke prime.

on a trip to celebrate her parents 25th anniversary, we all joined at david burke prime steakhouse at foxwoods casino. very upscale, beautiful restaurant, and also has the biggest wine display I have ever seen. service is quick and quaint, and the food was brought out on wheels in a timely manner. everything was not only visually stunning, but absolutely delicious.

i had the bad boy burger, a bacon burger with fries and cole slaw. this was the most solid burger i've had, and the fries were out of control.

she had the lazy man lobster plate, and though i'm not a seafood guy at all, it was very good.

i'll be saving for some time to be able to afford a bill like this one, but i'd like to be back soon.
